Welcome to Overstone Combined School
On behalf of our children and staff, I offer you a warm welcome to Overstone Combined School. We are extremely proud of the nurturing environment and the care we provide for everyone at our school. All that we do underpins the strong relationships we form with our children, parents and the wider community we serve.
At Overstone we want to develop independent, happy and thoughtful children. We provide an atmosphere, which enables the children to acquire a wide range of knowledge, skills and practical abilities through a challenging and purposeful curriculum and a safe and happy environment in which to work. Whatever your child’s ability, you can be sure we aim to meet the needs of all our pupils as we strive for excellence in all we do.
We have excellent facilities including a large school field, a spacious hall and an outstanding forest school. In partnership with S4A we are able to provide wrap around care, both before and after school, which provides parents with the reassurance that their children are well cared for at all times of the day,
Whatever age your child joins Overstone, transition is key. We want them to feel comfortable from day one, make new friends and be confident to start their learning journey with us. We work hard to ensure that our children leave our school in Year 6 as confident, happy individuals, supported with their physical and mental health; being well prepared for the next exciting stage in their learning and their development.
