Parent Governor Elections

News

March 2021

29th March 2021

We currently have several vacancies for parent governors and we would like to give you the opportunity to consider if this is something you would like to do. The role is voluntary but is varied and rewarding. You would be allocated to a committee, either People and Resources or Teaching and Learning, and you would contribute to both this and the full governing body meeting. The time commitment is approximately 8 hours per term and this would include meeting time and visits to the school (when allowed going forward). We usually meet in person but are currently holding all meetings remotely. Please have a think about joining the governors and more information regarding the election process is in the letter from Mrs Eales, which is attached.

Here is a list of our current governors and if you would like any further information about the role, please feel free to contact any of us through the school office. Many of us are parents of children at the school and we have indicated the class in which we have a child so you are aware who we are.
